The initiative aims to make Ancona an arena of specialist training for young people from the Adriatic countries and to transform their ideas on culture into real enterprises in the macro-region.
Each year 25/30 young people, half of them from the Marche region, take part in a full immersion training course lasting two to three months. Supported by scholarships, the courses are completely free of charge to trainees and include food and lodging for non-Marche participants.
The training has an economic-financial bias and aims to educate trainees in best cases and best practices in start-ups and business successes in the field of culture and cultural tourism in various countries from all over Europe.
This initiative is internationally unique in the field of training and the results are definitely encouraging, although in the first two editions, the start-ups were mostly concentrated in the culture category and were therefore concerned largely with cultural tourism, which does not have the size potential of other innovative sectors.
The partners of the initiative are Fondazione Marche, Marche Polytechnic University, ISTAO, the Chamber of Commerce of Ancona and the Municipality of Ancona, while the sponsor is Banca Intesa Sanpaolo.
The project, previously mounted in the 2015 and 2016 editions, makes the Marche region a leader in the field of young enterprise creation in countries of the Adriatic Macro Region and also opens the way for possible synergic relations between the countries.
